O#109 ORDINANCE NO. 109 AN 0PJD!NANCE OF THE TOVfN OF BOYNTON, PALi~ BEACH C0-~NTY, FLORIDA, ELII~INATING THE SU?~TY BOND OF THE T0~VN O~ERK OF THE TOWN OF BOYNTON, FLORIDA. ~YHE~AS, Ordinance No. 3 of the Town of Boynton, Florida, reads in part as follows: "Sec. 1o The To'~m Clerk shall be the head of the Department of Finance of the Town of Boynton ahd shall act as Town Clerk, Tax Assessor~ Tax Collector and Treasurer of the To~m of Boynton. Sec. 2. The Town Clerk before entering upon the duties of his or her office, shall give a bond~ with two or more sureties, or with an approved surety company as surety, in the penal sum of Two Hundred (~200.00) Dollars, conditioned upon his or her faithfully performing the duties of Town C!erk~ which bond shall be approved by the C onnnis sion. ~ and V~HEREAS, The Town of Boynton now employs a Tax Collector and T~easurer, who handles all monies of the Town of Boynton, and who is sufficiently~ bonded by a surety company approved by the To~m Commissioners of the Town of Boynton, and ~$~ER~AS, The Tov~ Clerk does not handle any of the monies of the ~o~m of Boynton, Florida~ NOW THER~FORE~ Be It Ordained by the To~m Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida, that Section ~ of Ordinance $ of the Town of Boynton, Florida, be rescinded, and that the Town Clerk of the Town of Boynton, Florida, not be re- quired to furnish bond in his capacity as To~rn Clerk~ All Ordinances, Resolution-s or Regulations~ or ~arts of Ordinances, Resolutions or Regulations in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. The above and foregoing Ordinance was read in full for the first time at a Regular Meeting of the Board of Toyed Commissioners, held June 16th, 1931~ and v~as adopted on its final reading at a Regular Meeting of the Board of Town Commissioners held on the Vth day of July, A~ D. t93t~ and a copy hereof posted at the door of the Town Ha!l of the Town of Boynton~ Florida.
