W~REAS, The Board of Town Commissioners .of the
Town of Bo~mton, in Palm Beach County~ ~1orida, in
anticipation of the necessary expenditures of such
Town of Boynton for the taxable year 1929~ have corn-
piled ~their budget thereof and which budget sets forth
the following items, to-wit:-

~EREAS, it is necessary that a tax be assessed,
levied, imposed and collected against all of the taxable
property within the said Town of Boynton, Palm Beach
County, lorlda, for the raising of such funds and
monies as are shown by such budget to be necessary
expenditures of the said Tov~ for the taxable year
1929, both for General Purposes and for the Special
purposes Of the Interest and Sinking ~nd upon the
bonded indebtedness.
NOT, THEREFORE, BE IT 0RDAIS~D BY THE BOARD OF
T0~ u0I~EiSSI0~ERS OF THE T0~ OF B0~TON, iN PAL~
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLL0~S:-
Z. That the Budget hereinbefore set forth, setting
for the items of anticipated general expense and of
Sinking ~nd and Interest requirements upon the bonded
debt of such Town, be and the same is hereby adopted
as the Budget of the said Town of Boynton, Palm Beach
County, Florida, for the taxable year 19~9.
~. That there be, and there ~ereby is levied upon all
of the taxable property, both real and personal, within
such To~rn of Boynton, in Palm Beach County, Florida, a
special tax for the purpose of providing interest and
Sinking Fund monies, to be used in the payment of In-
terest and the Redemption of principal upon the bonded
debt of such Town, the sum of FORTY NINE THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED AND %HiRTY-0NE DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-TO~ CENTS,
Z. That there be, and there hereby is, levied by such
Town Commission on all of the Taxable property, both real
and personal,within such Town, a general tax to provide
for the general expenditures of the said Town as provided
in the budget items hereinbefore set forth, to-wit: a
tax sufficient to produce the sum of THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND
SIX hU3NDRED AND THIRTY-T%V0 DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-TS~0 CENTS.

~. That such taxes hereinbefore referred to, be and the
same hereby are, apoortioned to and levied against all
the taxable property, both real and personal, within the
corporate limits of the said To~, in proportion to the
assessed valuation ~ such property, the valuation of
the real property situated within the corporate limits
of the said Town of Boynton, Florida, for the year i9~9,
as shown by the Tax Assessment Roll prepared by the Tax
Assessor of the said To~ of Boynton, Florida, being
hereby affixed at Four ~illion Two Hundred S~xty Three
Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars (~,~$,~S2.00)
5. That such tax be extended upon the tax bOoks of
such Town of Boynton, Florida, in the proper millage
proportionate to the valuation thereof as returned
by the Tax Assessor, to wit:

6. That the passage and adootion of the above and
foregoing ORDINANCE is urgent and is essential to the
i~mediate preservation of the public peace of such Town
of Boynton, Florida, by reason of the same providing
funds for the proper administration of the affairs of
such Town of Boynbmn, Florida~ and that an emergency
does exist for the immediate passage and adoption of
such ORDINANCE.
7. That the above and foregoing 0RDIh~ANCE, being an
ORDINANCE making a tax levy, be, and the same h?reby
is, passed and adopted on this the THIRD day of
SEPTE~v~ER, A. D. 19~9, being a Regular Meeting of the
Board of Tov.~ Commissioners of the Town of Boynton,
Florida~ and further that such 0RDII~At~CE shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
THiS ORDINANCE having been read in full at a meeting
of the Board of To~ Commissioners of the Tow~ of
Boynton, Florida, held on the ~rd day of September,
