Be it Ordained by the Board of To~m Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, in Palm Beach County~ Florida:
!. That if any building shall hereafter change
to a~ condition prohibited or delcared Unsafe by the
Board of To~m Commissioners of the Totem of Boynton~ in
Palm Beach County, Florida, or if any building hereto-
fore erected shall be required to be hereafter removed,
said building is hereby declared to be a nuisance, when-
ever the same shall change to a condition prohibited or
declared unsafe by the Board of Town Commissioners, of
the Town of Boynton, in Palm Beach County, Florida; or
w=nen the same shall not be removed, at .the time and in
the manner in this Ordinance required as the case may
be, and the ow, net of such building shall be required to
remove the same building within fifteen (18) days after
the service ucc~ him or his agent of notice so to do,
which said notice shall be given by Resolution of the
Board of Town Commissioners of the Town of Boynton, in
Palm Beach County, Florida.
~. If such building is not so removed within
fifteen (15) days after the service of such notice,
such building shall be removed by the Bca rd of T~n
Commissioners of the Town of Boynton, in Palm Beach
County, Florida.
~. Such notice as herein above'referred to shall
be served by delivery of a copy thereof to t he owner
or his agent, if either of them be found within the
Tov~n of Boynton, Florida, or by the mailing of a copy
thereof to such owner if his address be know~a or if
such o~mer be a non-resident of the Tovm of Boynton,v
Florida, without a known resident agent, and such
address be unkno~.~?the service thereof shall be made by
posting said notice on or near the front door of the To~n
Hall of the To~rn of Boynton, Florida, for a period of
fifteen (18) days, and in addition to posting said notice~
a copy thereof shall be posted in a conspicuous place upon
the building which has been declared a nuisance, provided,
however, that if such building be in such ~ondition that
it is dangerous to life or libra, the same shall be re-
moved immediately by the Board of Town Commissioners of
the Tovm of Boynton, Florida, without notice of any kind
!. Provided further, that no building shall be re-
moved, if the owner shall within fifteen (15) days of the
service of said notice remodel, repair or reconstruct
such building so that the same may no longer be declared
a nuisance.
All Ordinances, Resolutions or Orders or parts of
0rdinance~, Resolutions or Orders inconsisten or
in conflict herewith be, and the same hereby are,
rescinded and repealed, and the Orders herein con-
tained shall go into effect ten (10) days after
the passage and adoption thereof.
The above Ordinance No. lO1, having been read in
full at a meeting of the Board of Town Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Florida, held onthe Twenty-
fifth day of April, Ao D. 1929, was adopted and
passed at a Regular Meeting of the Board of Town
Commissioners held on the Seventh day of
A. D. 1929, and a copy thereof posted at the
front door of the To~ua Hall, o'f the Town of Boynton,
Ftorlda, on the Sixteenth day of ~ay, A. D. 1939.
