O#81ORDINANCE NO o 81 AN ORDINANCE ABOLiSHII~G PUBLIC OR STREET ALONG THE ATI~NTIC OCEAN ~ITHI!~ THE ~ORPO..P~TE Li~'~ITS OF ~E TO~A~N OF BOYNT©N, PAig~ B~k~CH C O-~NTY, FLORIDA° Be It Ordained by the Commission of the Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida, as follows: Section t. That the said street, highway or boulevard within the corporate limits of the Town of Boo, ton, Palm Beach County, Florida, which is located upon or along the following described right- of-way, situate within the said county and state, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the center line of Ocean Avenue in the Town of Bo~mton, Palm Beach County, Florida, distant 4i0~ more or less egst of the center line of S~ection ~2, Twonship 45 South, Range 43 East~ the center line of the right-of-way of Ocean Boulevard, said right-of-way being 40~ in ~_dth, runs in a north- easterly direction a distance of 1500~ more or less to a point of intersection distant 965~ more or less in an easterly direction from the half section line of said .Section 22, Township 45 South, Range 43 East; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 4580~ more or less to the north line of said Section 22~ Township 45 South, Range 43 East, intersection said north line of said Section 22 at a point 4860~ more or less east of the northwest section corner of said Section ~, be, and the same hereby is, condemned, closed and abolished. Section 2. That, that certain road, street, boulevard or highway beginning at a point on the center line of Ocean Avenue in the To~ of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Fiorida~ which point is distant 410 feet more ce less east of the center line of Section 2~, To~aaship 45 South, Range 43 East and ru~ning northeasterly a distance of 1500 feet more or less, thence northerly along and near the Atlantic Ocean a distance of 4580 feet more or less to the north line of said section 2~, Township 45 South~ Range 43 East, which road, highway, street or boulevard is k~:ovm and called, ~The Ocean Boulevard", be and the same hereby is, discontinued, abolished, closed and declared to be no longer a public thorou-ghfare. Section 3. That this Ordinance and all the pro- visions hereof shall be6ome effective ten days ~* az ~er its passage by the Town Commission of the To'am of Boynt on~ Palm Beach County, Florida. 'Sectiom 4. That, immediately after this Ordinance becomes effective under the provisions hereof, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Folice of t he Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida, and any assistants · ~.vhich he may deem necessary, to blockade and obstruct~ by proper methods and means, the southern and northern terminals .of the Ocean Boulevard which is described and abolished by the terms of this Ordinance, and to close the same from traffic of every nature whatsoever; and upon the obstruction and closing .of the said boulevard as herein provided, any person, aggregation of persons~ firm or~ corporation who shall remove the obstruction so placed in and upon the said boulevard, shall be deemed guilty of violation of this ordinance~ and upon a conviction therefor~ shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred (~$00.00) Dollars or by impri- sonment in the Town bastile~ at hard labor for the Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida by a term not to exceed ninety days, one or both. Section ~5. That all Ordinances and Resotutions~ and parts of Ordinances and Resolutions of the Town of Boynton.~ Palm Beach County, Florida, ~nich are in conflict v~ith this Ordinance, or any part hereo~, are hereby expressly repealed, nullified and held for naught. This Ordinance having been read in full at a Special ~[eeting of the Board of Town Commissioners, held on the 5th day of February A.
