A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 15 OF RULE VI OF
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF CIVIL SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 75-EEE which was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, on September 2, 1975, effected certain amendments to
Rules VI and XI of the current Rules and Regulations of Civil
Service of said City, as set forth in said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of said City and
subsequent to the passing and adoption of said Resolution No.
75-EEE, the Municipal Personnel Officer has recommended that
Section 15 of said Rule VI be further amended to add the
following sentence thereto:

"Whenever the said bonus is awarded as aforesaid,
payment thereof shall be made in four (4) equal quarter-
annual installments of $125.00 each with the first such
installment of $125.00 to be paid to the employee with
his or her next ensuing salary payment and each install-
ment of $125.00 shall be paid quarter-annually thereafter
until the total of $500.00 has been paid in full or for
so long as the employee continues top performance in his
or her position, whichever event ~shall first occur,
provided, however, that should such top performance of
the employee be discontinued for any reason, the amount
of the said award shall be reduced and prorated for that
period during which the employee has given continuous
top performance.";
~...WHEREAS; ~se~'City~Manager hasi~eviewed.~Said~ proposed
amendment and has approved it without modification; and
WHEREAS, after thorough review of such proposed amendment,
the City Council deems that the enactment and adoption of same
i~ i~-the~ best interests of efficient administration of the
municipal personnel system.
NOW, .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That %he proposed amendment to Section 15 of
Rule VI of the currently existing Rules and Regulations of Civil
Service of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, as set forth
hereinabove, is hereby approved, ratified and adopted.
Section 2: In all other respects subject Rules and
Regulations of Civil Service are hereby ratified and confirmed
as heretofore adopted and amended.
