75-QQ WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Pollution
COntrol, by Approval No. CS-03-50-1445, has approved the
application of the Seacrest Plaza Apartments, for the construc-
tion of sewage collection/transmission system to serve said
proposed 64-unit project, subject to the assurance by the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, that adequate sewage and water treat-
ment capacity would be available to said project upon its
completion; and
WHEREAS, there is a serious shortage of standard housing
for which low and moderate income families can qualify, Which
shortage is intended to be alleviated by the construction of
the said Seacrest Plaza Apartments at 700 North Seacrest Boulevard
in said City; and
WHEREAS, the construction of expanded sewage treatment
plant facilities is scheduled for completion by December, 1975,
thereby providing adequate sewage treatment facilities, and said
City has previously provided for adequate water treatment
facilities to provide for the said Seacrest Plaza Apartments
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA; that the State of Florida Department of Pollution
COntrol be and is hereby assured that available sewage treatment
and water treatment: capacities for the said 64-unit Seacrest
Plaza Apartments shall be available at the time of completion
of said housing development, and that a true and certified copy
of this Resolution be delivered to the State of Florida Depart-
ment of Pollution Control.
