75-GGRESOLUTION NO. 75-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REGARDING UTILITY JOINT PROJECT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPART-
MENT OF TRANSPORTATION. AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
SUCH AGREEMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE PLACING OF FUNDS
WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE UTILITY INSTALLATION.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation
is constructing, reconstructing or otherwise changing a portion of
the State Highway System, between Congress Avenue and Interstate
Highway 1-95 in the City of Boynton Beach, which shall call for
the installation of new City utility facilities over and/or
under said highway; and
WHEREAS, the City requires additional utility capacity
in certain locations within the construction limits of this
project; and
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore authorized that plans
and specifications be prePared for the installation of new City
facilities over and/or under said highway; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications have been prepared
and approved by the City Engineering Department; such plans and
specifications to be made a part of the Department's highway
construction contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section l: That the Cit~ of Boynton Beach enter into a
Joint Project Agreement with the State of Florida Department of
Transportation for installation by the Department of said new
City facilities designated as Utility Job 3603, Section 93640,
Parcel 1, R/W Job 5003 , and that the City assume all costs
incurred in the respective utility installations, which costs
are estimated to be $ 36,155.00 .
Section 2: That the Mayor and the City Clerk be
authorized to enter into such agreements with the State of
Florida Department of Transportation for the installation of
said new City facilities.
Section 3: That the estimated costs of such utility
installations as set forth above be paid in advance to the State
of Florida Department of Transportation in accordance with such
utility installation agreement.

We have had prior discussion with you- on this matter and realize
you are anxious to receive the Mylar prints from D~O..T. at ~a cost
of $60.00~ Please prepare a transfer of funds for the $60 so we
can return %he 'agreement ~and resolution to D.O.T. so you~ may
proceed with the above project. Also on the bottom of Page 1 there
are .two blanks - can you supply this information to us?

Please be advised the estimated cost of ~ae relocation
of utilities in the S.Ro 804 right-of-way will be
$36,155.00. This amount is ~ be inserted in the
blank in Section one of Reso!u%ion No. 75rGG, passed
at the June 3, 1975 meeting. -
A check for this amount {$36~155.00) will be required
to accompany the design drawings and specifications
when they are submitted to D.O.T. on or Sbou% the
first week in August, 1975. .
