A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
A~ENDING THE AMENDED PAY PLAN AiqD JOB DESCRIPTIONS
FOR MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, on September 17, 1974, passed and adopted Resolution No.
74-HH which ratified, approved and confirmed the amended pay plan
and job descriptions for municipal employees of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, which were implemented by the City
Manager and became effective on the 26th day of September, 1974;
and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Officer of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, has heretofore conducted a periodic review of
existing pay scale for employees of said municipality and has
recommended~certain amendments as to ineligibility for overtime
compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed said proposed
amendments and has approved them without modification; and
WHEREAS, after thorough review of such proposed amendments,
the City Council deems that the enactment and adoption of same
ms in the best interests of efficient administration of the
municipal personnel system~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the amended pay plan and job descriptions
for municipal employees of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
as set forth in said Resolution No. 74-HH is hereby amended to
provide that the following positions shall not be eligible for
overtime compensation:
Purchasing Agent and Personnel
Director
City Clerk
Finance Director
Supt. of General Services
Asst. Supt. of General Services
Building Official
Deputy Building Official
Utilities Director
City Engineer
Deputy City Engineer
Library Director
Recreation Director
Fire Chief
Fire Captain
Fire Marshal
Training Officer
Police Chief
Police Captain
Section 2: In all other respects said amended pay plan
and job descriptions for municipal employees are hereby
ratified and confirmed as heretofore adopted and amended.
