Minutes 07-15-02 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING
HELD IN THE LIBRARY PROGRAM ROOM, 208 S. SEACREST AVENUE,
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ON MONDAY, JULY 15, 2002 AT 5:30 P.M.

Call to Order
Mayor Broening called the Special Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of
the Special Meeting is to set the millage rate and the date for the public hearing
in September.
City Attorney Cherof read proposed Resolution R02-117 by title only adopting a
proposed millage rate of 7.8160 for general operating budget purposes for fiscal
year 2002/2003, stating a roll back rate of 7.5287, and setting forth the date, time
and place of the first public hearing.
The date of the first public hearing will be September 3, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. in
Commission Chambers, City Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida.
Motion
Commissioner Fisher moved to approve Resolution R02-117 as stated. Motion
seconded by Commissioner McCray and unanimously carried.

being no further business, the meeting properly adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
