A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, SUPPORTING RESOLUTION NO. R-74-318
OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
INITIATION OF PROCEEDINGS WHEREBY THE PALM
BEACH COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL, INC.,
A PRIVATE , WILL BE
RE:DESIGNATED AS WITHIN THE
PALM BEACH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
County, Florida, on April 30, 1974, passed and adopted its
Resolution No. R-74-318~ authorizing the initiation of proceedings
which could result in the Palm Beach County Community Action
Council, Inc., a non-profit organization, becoming a public agency
under the direction of the Palm Beach County Government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That it is deemed to be in the best interests of
the citizens of the City of Boynton Beach~ Florida, to support
Resolution No. R-74-318 adopted by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, on April 30, 1974~ whereby
the Palm Beach Co.unty Community Action Council, Inc., a private
non-profit organization, was authorized to initiate the proper
and necessary procedures for causing its redesignation as a
public agency within the Palm Beach County Government.
Section 2.: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida,
Robert F. Culpepper, Chairman.
S_e_ction 3: That this Resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its passage.
