AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, /
LICENSES. TO PROVIDE FOR DESIGNATION OF THE/'
CITY MANAGER OR H~s DESIGNEE AS THE CITY/S
LICENSING OFFICIAL, PROVIDING FOR AMENDME~OF
SECTIONS 13-3, 13-4, 13-16 TO PROVIDE
CONSISTENCY WITH SUCH DESIGNATION; THaT EACH
AND EVERY OTHER PROVISION OF CHAPTE~ 13 NOT
HEREIN SPECIFICALLY AMENDED SHALL/REMAIN IN
FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, ~EVERABILITY,
CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVED~TE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of t~e City of Boynton Beach,
Florida has heretofore discussed the/~dvantages of reallocating
responsibility with respect to th~ issuance of occupational
licenses; and /
WHEREAS, the City Commission/has determined that it is in the
best interests of the efficien~~' administration of licensing to
alter current administrative pm~ctices; and
WHEREAS, supervision of~he licensing practices of the City is
consistent with the City M~nager's powers under the terms of the
Charter; //
NOW, THEREFORE, BE/~T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,/FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. ~he City Manager or his/her designee is hereby
designated as the Cfty's licensing official and is charged with the
responsibility o~~' administering Chapter 13 of the Code of
Ordinances.
Section 2/ Chapter 13, Sec. 13-3(c) of the Code of
Ordinances of/the City of Boynton Beach, Florida is hereby amended
by adding th~ words and figures in underlined type and by deleting
the words ~d figures in struck-through type, as follows:
/(c) Each new application for an occupational
license shall be accompanied by an initial and
/ one-time application filing fee in the amount
~ of forty dollars ($40.00), which shall cover
the initial inspections and review undertaken

Section 3. Chapter 13, Sec. 13-4 of the Code of Ordinances
the City of Boynton beach, Florida is hereby amended by adding
words and figures in underlined type and by..deleting the words

(a) Upon payment of the required tax and
compliance with all conditions required for
