WHEREAS, it is proposed by the State of Florida, through the
State of Florida Department of Transportation, to locate, con-
struct and maintain or improve a portion of State Road 9 (I-95)
Palm Beach County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the lands involved and necessary to
said project are ow]aed by the City of Boynton Beach, Florida; and
WPIEREAS, on behalf of the State of Florida a request has
been made for a conveyance of a portion of said lands of this
City, more particularly described as follows by the State of
Florida Department of Transportation:

WHEREAS, the said Department of Transportation has hereto-
fore offered a total sum of $38,080.00 for the taking of said
parcel; and
WHEREAS, said sum is acceptable to the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA., that the Mayor, or in her absence the Vice-Mayor,
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any and all
necessary instruments to effect conveyance of the above-described
parcel to the State of Florida Department of Transportation and
to deliver said instruments to said Department upon payment of
the above total sum of $38,080.00.
