R02-117RESOLUTION R02- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PROPOSED MUNICIPAL MILLAGE RATE OF 7.8160 FOR GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET PURPOSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002-03, STATING A ROLLED-BACK RATE OF 7.5287, AND SETTING FORTH THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF THE FIRST PUBLIC HEARING; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(2)(b) it is the responsibility of the Municipality's goveming body to advise the Property Appraiser of its roll back millage rate, proposed millage rate and the date, time and place of the first public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF iTHE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby adopts a proposed millage rate of 7.8160 for which has been computed to fund the General Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-03. The rolled-back rate is 7.5287. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby sets September 3rd, 2002 at 6:00 P.M., at Boynton Beach City Hall, 100 East Boynton Beach Boulevard, as the date, time and place of the first public heating to consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget. Section 3. The City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute and submit DR-420 Certification of Taxable Value to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office. Section 4. If any clause, section, or other part of this Resolution shall be held by any Court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, such unconstitutional or invalid part shall be considered as eliminated and in no way affecting the validity of the other )rovisions of this Resolution. Section 5. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 6.
