72-DDRESOLUTION NO. 72 - DD
WHEREAS, it is proposed by the State of Florida, through
the State of Florida Department of Transportation, to locate, construct
and maintain or improve a portion of State Road 9 (I-95) in Palm Beach
County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the lands involved and necessary to
said project are owned by the City of Boynton Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, on behalf of the State of Florida a request has been
made for a conveyance of a portion of said lands of this City, more part[-
cularly described under the following State of Florida Department of
Transportation:
Parcel No. 230. 1
Section 93220-2412
State Road 9 ([-95)
County of Palm Beach
FAP No. FAP-I-95-1-(147) 56;
and
WHEREAS, the said Department of Transportation has here-
tofore offered a total sum of $49, 375.00 for the taking of said parcel; and
WHEREAS, said sum is acceptable to the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute any and all necessary instruments to effect conveyance of the
above-described parcel to the State of Florida Department of Transporta-
tion and to deliver said instruments to said Departmeni upon payment of
the above total sum of $49, 375.00.
