72-W RESOLUTION NO. 72-W
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the following salaries are hereby established for the
indicated municipal positions for the fiscal year 1972-73:
City Manager
City Attorney
City Prosecutor
City Public Defender
Municipal Judge
$22,000. per year
14,000. Per year
2,772. per year
1,200. per year
6,864. per year
Further: For the reduction of hourly employees to 40-hour
week:
(a) That employees presently on 48-hour week shall receive
at least one range increase as a salary adjustment
plus a one-step increase;
That employees presently on a 44-hour week shall receive
a one-step increase in salary within the assigned range,
plus a range increase if recommended in the pay survey;
(c) That all other employees not recommended for a pay in-
crease shall receive at least a pay raise of one step;
(d)
That "Temporary" positions shall now be designated as
"Part-time" and salary for these will be set up by the
City Manager provided funds are available in the Depart-
mental Budget;
(e)
That all classified positions with title and grade
listed on salary schedule dated August 14, 1972 are
hereby adopted, which schedule is made a part of this
Resolution by reference;
(f)
That due to the Federal Wage Board regulations, steps
L-3 and L-4 of the attached salary schedule will not be
implemented until the approval by the Pay Board, or
proper interpretation is received which would allow this
to be effective.
