72-NRESOLUTION NO. 72 - t~
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1972, the Area Planning Board of
PaLm Beach County, Florida, adopted a Plan for Regional Water Supply,
Treatment and Distribution; and Regional Sewage Collection, Treatment
and Disposal - PaLm Beach, County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1972, the Florida Pollution Control
Board simultaneously adopted the above referenced Plan and further
designated the Area Planning Board in PaLm Beach County, Florida,
responsible for the implementation of said Plan; and
WHEREAS, as part of subject Plan the City of Boynton Beach
has been designated the Agent in the Boynton Beach Service Area and
assigned and designated the duties and responsibilities spelled out in said
Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the City of Boynton Beach in order to efficiently
implement the Regional Plans hereinabove described officially accepts the
designation as Agent under said Plan in the Boynton Beach Service Area,
more particularly described therein, and accepts and agrees to perform all
duties and responsibilities set forth in said Plan.
