RESOLUTION AWARDING $1,000,000 WATER AN-D
SEWER REVEI~E BONDS~ SERIES 1971, OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHERF~S, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has hereto-
fore authorized the issuance of $1,000,000 Water and Sewer Revenue
Bonds, Series 1971 (hereinafter called "Bonds"), to finance the
cost of constructing and acquiring additions, extensions and im-
provements to the combined water and sewer system of the City; and
WHEREAS, said Bonds having been validated by judgment of
the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida; and
W=rlEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable and in the
interest of the ~ that said $1,000,000 Bonds be sold at
best
this time; and

of New York City, N.Y.
of Orlando, Florida, respectively,
has offered to purchase said Bonds at the price of $ ~,00~,000.oo

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the $1,000,000 Water and Sewer Revenue
Bonds, Series' 1971 of the City, dated December 1, 1971, maturing
serially on December 1 in the years 1982 to 1991, inclusive, bear-
lng interest, payable semi-annually on June 1 and December 1 of
each year, at the following rates of interest per annum

~.~.Hough & Co., Inc. of New York City, N.Y., and Orlando, Florida, respect~ely,

of delivery thereof.
SECTION 2. That said Bonds and the coupons attached
thereto shall be payable at the First Bank and Trust Company of
Boca Raton, N.A., Boca Raton, Florida, or at the option of the
holder at The Chase Manhattan Bank, National Association, New York,
New York.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor, City Clerk and City Attorney
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said obligations and
to do and perform any and all things for the purpose of effectuat-
ing delivery of said obligations.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
