72-IRESOLUTION NO. 72
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has the present
capability to furnish water and sewer utility services to certain proposed
developments within its reserve annexation area lying West of said
Municipality's municipal limits, and
WHEREAS, the Area Planning Board has requested said Munici-
pality to furnish such services to said area, and
WHEREAS, prior to proceeding with any of said projects, it will
be necessary to obtain permission and authority from the Board of County
Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, agreeing to relinquish
their responsikility to furnish such services within said area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
hereby respectfully requests permission and authority from the Board of
County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, to furnish water
and sanitary Sewerage services to inhabitants and developers located within
said Municipality's reserve annexation area, and for said County Commis-
sion to expressly relinquish its responsibility to provide such services
within said area.
