72-G RESOLUTION NO. 72 - ~
BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-rE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the existing Civil Service Rules and Regulations of the City
of Boynton Beach, Florida, as amended are hereby further amended as
follows:
Section 1: The last sentence of Paragraph 2, Article IV,
Section 4 (Police Promotions) be amended to read: "No person shall be
admitted to an examination for promotion to Detective Sergeant and
Police Sergeant until he shall have served on the local force for at least
eighteen (i8) continuous months immediately prior to the examination as
a Patrolman or Detective."
Section 2: Subject Civil Service Rules and Regulations as
amended, in all other respects are hereby ratified and confirmed as
adopted.
