BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the Palm Beach County Legislative delegation be, and
they are hereby respectfully requested to introduce and support enactment
of legislation in the 1972 S~ssion of the Florida Legislature to accomplish
the following:
(a) Repeal of existing law providing for mandatory assessment
and collection of municipal taxes by the County Tax Assessor and Tax
Collector and to substitute therefor law placing the transfer of these
duties and responsibilities on a voluntary basis;
(b) Enactment of legislation which will preserve municipal
courts.
