WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach over the last decade
has been one of the leading municipalities in Palm Beach County advocating
adequate public water works facilities and pollution abatement projects,
and has implemented such projects to enhance and assure the orderly growth
of the community and to protect public health and welfare, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach has
instructed its Consulting Engineers, Russell & Axon Consulting Engineers,
Incorporation, to prepare a Master Plan for water and sewer system
expansion, to assure the orderly, technically correct, and feasible expan-
sion of the existing water and sewer works facilities to meet the demands of
City growth, including contiguous service areas presently assigned or which
may be assigned to be served by the City, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, has
received and accepted said Master Plan for water and sewer system expan-
sion prepared by Russell & Axon Consulting Engineers, Incorporated, and
dated October, 1970,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH:
That the aforementioned Master Plan and any and all amend-
ments thereto, be and is hereby adopted as the official technical document
to be employed in the expansion, alteration and addition to the City's existing
water and sewage works facilities, the provision of such services to
contiguous service areas, and the provision of service to other public or
private entities who have or may apply for such service, and that the afore-
mentioned Master Plan be made available to all local, state and federal
health authorities and other governmental agencies as applicable.
