WHEREAS, the Florida State Department of Transportation is presently
engaged in the planning and implementation of construction of certain highways
through the municipal limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida in conjunc-
tion with the United States Bureau of Roads, and,
WHEREAS, in connection with said projects it will be necessary for the
relocation of various public utilities owned by the City of Boynton Beach for
which the City will be entitled to certain reimbursements, and,
WHEREAS, the Florida State Department of Transportation has request-
ed that a Resolution be adopted by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute any and all necessary agree-
ments on behalf of the City in connection with subject reimbursements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Boynton Beach be and
they are hereby authorized to enter into and execute any and all necessary
agreements with the Department of Transportation and/or the United States
Bureau of Roads in conjunction with obtaining reimbursements due the City for
necessary public utility relocations in conjunction with highway construction,
all subject to prior approval as to content of any such agreements, by the
Boynton Beach City Council.
