OF BOYNT0~, FLORIDA, PROHIBITIt.[G THE ENCUi~BRANCE OR OBSTRUCTION OF STREETS, SIDE~¥ALKS, ROADS, PARKS OR 0~[ER PUBLIC U~AYS VIITHIN q}:E TO~'~S'[, RE- C,~,UIRING P~',.[ITS TO BE 0BTAIYED IN CERTAIN INSTA/~CES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION T}~EREOF. BE IT ORDAII~D by the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida: Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, except as otherwise provided herein, to encumber or obstruct any street, sidewalk, road, park or other public way ~,?ithin the Town of Boyr~ton, with any article or thing whatsoever. Section 2. Permit: lb.e To',m Commission shall have power to grant permits to builders to occupy a portion of any such street, sidewalk, road, park or other public way ~ith buildi~g mate?iai, as in its opinion, t)]e in- terest and convenience of the public will not su_¢fer thereby. Section ~. Such permits shall provided expressly that they are given upon condition that the sidewalk and gutters shall at all time be kept clear and unobstructed, and that all dirt and rubbage shall be promptly removed from time to time by the party obtaining such permit. Section 4. In no case shall building material be placed upon, nor shall mortar, cement or other material be mixed upon the pavement or sidewlak of any street, except upon permit issued by the Tov.~n Commission. Section ~. ~henever such wood, timber, stone, iron or other building material has been or will be placed in or upon any street without permission, the Town Commission shall forthwith cause the same to be taken up and removed. Section 6. No post or pole shall be erected or put up in any street within the Town, unless under a permit from the Town Commission. Section V. No person shall have or use any boot- black st ~d, showcases or booths upon the street or side- walks of said To~vn ?~thout first obtaining a permit theme- for as hereinbefore provided. Section 8. No person being the owner or agent or the meployee of the owner of any truck, cart, wagon or other vehicle, or any bo:.:, barrel, bale of merchandise~ or other movable property shall leave or suffer or permit to be left such vehicle, merchandise or other movable property upon any public street or sidewalk within the Town of Boynton. Section 9. That whenever the words streets, roads, parks, sidewlaks or public way ~all be used in this Ordinance, the same shall mean "any public streets, t]~oroughfare, park or other public place dedicated, ac- quired or maintained by the Town of Boynto~ for the use of the public." Section 10. Any person, persons, firms or corp- orations who a.~.ai± be convicted of a violation of this Ordinance shall be munished by fine not ~xceeding ~100.00 or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30) days or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court. The above Ordinance having been read in full at a Special Meeting of tl~e Town Commission of the Town of t~oynton, Florida, on the 4th day of February, A. D. 19M5, was duly read and adopted at a Regular Meeting of said Town Commission, held on the 17th day of ~darch, A.
