O#44ORDINANCE NO. 44 ~EREA3, the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida, has heretofore deemed it necessary and advisable for the public health, safety and general welfare of ~id Town, that certain streets and public ways within said To~n, be improved, and, 7~EREAS, a large portion of said improvements have been completed but other improvements and contracts for improvements are being executed, and WHEREAS, the Town Commission has heretofore decided that the property owners abutting on said streets or public ways should pay the cost of said improvements, and, ~EREAS, there is now outstanding taxes and street assessments in an amount sufficient to provide funds for the improvement work completed and all other street improvements now under, construction, and, 7~EREAS, it ~tl be necessary to close down certain improvement work now being made unless sufficient funds are ~rovided, and, WHEREAS, the To~ Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida dee it necessary for the health, satiety and general welfare of said Town that funds be provided for the afore- said purposes. THEREFORE BE iT ORDAINED by the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, 1. That Town C~mmission borrow from the Bank of Boynton the sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred and No/lO0 Dollars ($6,500.00) and that the Town Commission be authorized to make said loan and execute notes of the Town for said amount on the best terms and conditions that may be obtained. 11. This Ordinance shall become a law immediately upon its passage. The above Ordinance 44 having been read at a Special Meeting of the Town Commission, all members being present on October 9th, A. Gentlemen:- In consideration of the ~6500.00 loan granted us this date in accordance with Ordinance No. 44 adopted at a meeting of the Commissioners of the Town of Boynton on October 9, 19~4, we do hereby pledge ourselves to make payment of this loan from the general taxation as collected from time to time during the next taxable period beginning November 1st, 1924, unless this loan is liquidated from other means before hand.
