¥~ereas, ~ere is a cert~in street v~thin ~e Town of
Boynton, Florida, known by and shown on the plats of said
Town as the County Road extending from the tVest line of the
Florida East Coast Railroad ~est parallel to the South line
of Robert Wells Addition to the Town of Boynton, Florida,
to that street ~thin said Town knov~ as Green Street; and,
~f~ereas, said street has always been known as the
County Road; and,
Whereas, the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton,
Florida, deem it necessary and advisable that said street
be named;
Therefore Be It Ordained by the Town Commission of the
Town of Boynton, Florida;
That that street known as County Road extending from the
West line of the Florida East Coast Railroad West to Green
Street be and the same is hereby named Wells Avenue to be
hereafter knov~ by said name.
The above Ordinance having been read in full at a Regular
Meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida,
held on the 5th day of ~une A. D. 1924, was adopted and approved
at a regular meeting of said Commission held on the 1Vth day
of June A. D. 1924, and a copy thereof posted at the front
door of the Town Hall at Boynton, Florida, on the 18th day
of June A. D. 1924.
