O#18(Amended by 0rdinance No. 81) ORDINANCE N0. 18 ~otor Vehicles. Sec. 1. No person shall operate a motor vehicle on the street known as the "Dixie Highway", in the Town of Boynton, at a rate of speed greater than eighteen (18) miles per hour. Sec. 2. No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any of the streets or highways intersecting or running into or running out of said Di~ie Highway, at a rate of speed greater than 12 miles per hour, provided, however, this provision shall only apply~to the aforesaid streets intersecting, opening into or opening from the said Dixie High~,zay, for a distance of two hundred (200) feet on said streets measured from the enter of said Dixie Highway. Sec. 3. That traffic on the Di×ie-Highway shall have the right-of-way and take precedence over traffic coming into or coming out of said Dixie HighWay. /Sec. 4. No person shall operate a motor vehicle on the public highway of the Town of Boynton, recklessly, or at a rate of speed greater than reasona~!e and proper, having regard to the width, traffic smd use of the highway, so as to endanger the property or life or limb of any person. Sec. 5. Any person, firm, or corporation, violating any of the provisions of this 0rdi'nance shall be punished by a fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars (~25.00), or imprisoned not exceeding ten (10) days, or both so fined and imprisoned. The above Ordinance No. 18, having been read in full at a ~.eeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida, held on the 6th day of December A. D. 1921, was adopted and passed at a Regular 1,ieeting of said Commission held on the 20th day of December A.
