O#8ORDINANCE NO. 8. An Ordinance fixing the time when the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida, will sit as a Board of Equalization with reference to the Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1921. ~.VHEREAS, a grave emergency existing with reference to the affairs of the Tovm of Boynton, Florida, in that much time has been necessarily spent by the Tax Assessor of the Town of Boynton, Florida, in making up a Tax Assessment Roll for the year 1921, in pursuance of the charter received by the Town by the Legislature of the State of Florida~at its regular session in 1921, and by reason thereof, it becomes necessary for the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida, to immedi~tely receive and fix a time when it will sit as a Board of Equalization to pass on any objections or protests as to the manner or amount of assessment fixed by the Tax Assessor in the Tax Assessment Roll of the year 1921. Be it Ordained by the Town Commission of the Town of Boynton, Florida: Sec. 1. That the Town Commission of the Town of Boyn- ton, Florida, shall immediately receive the assessment roll of taxes for said Town for the year 1921 from the Tax Assessor. Sec. 2. That the Town Commission shall sit as a Board of Equalization for the purpose of hearing any com- plaints against the manner or amomut of assessments fixed by the Tax Assessor in the Assessment Roll for the year 1921, on the 15th day of September A. D. 1921 at 7:30 P. ~. at the Town Hall in Boynton, ~lorida. And that the Town Commission may adjourn from day to day while sitting as such Board of Equalization, until the assessment shall have been approved by the said Oommission. Sec. 3. ~ll Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con- flict with this Ordinance be and the same are, insofar as conflict herewith, are hereby respectively repealed. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately. The above Ordinance No. 8 having been read in full at a Special Meeting of the Town Commission of Bo~nton, Florida, held on the 1st day of September A. D. 1921, was adopted and passed at a Meeting held on the 1st day of September A.
