70-URESOLUTION NO. 70-~_
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
has heretofore applied for a federal grant for financial assistance in
connection with expansion of municipal sewer facilities, which application
has been heretofore approved by the Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
1. That the federal offer of grant in the amount of $178, 200.00,
previously tendered to the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, under the
provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, is here-
by accepted.
2. Be it further resolved that Clarence Q. Jones, Jr., City Manage]
of the said City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby authorized and
directed to execute any and all necessary documents required in connection
with formal acceptance of said offer, as well as any and all other documents
connected with the processing of said grant on behalf of the City.
