70-PRESOLUTION NO. 70 - ~ WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, pertaining to garbage, trash and weeds, and the provisions of the City Charter of said City and the General Laws of the State of Florida, a recent periodic survey of the City has been conducted and a report submitted to the Mayor of the municipality describing certain parcels of land located within the municipal limits of the City whereon conditions constituting nuisances as defined in said Laws exist; and WHEREAS, supporting data regarding the existence of subject nuisances has been submitted to the City Council at a regular meeting and the Council has thoroughly considered said report and supporting data relative thereto; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found, as a fact, that a prima facie case has been established showing the existence of nuisances, as defined in the above and foregoing Laws, on the parcels of land more particularly described hereinafter, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That nuisances as defined in Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, and the Laws of the State of Florida, exist on the parcels of land situated within the municipal limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Parcel No. 1: Lots 16, 17, 18 and 19, LAKESIDE GARDENS, recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 57, public records Palm Beach County~ ~(~ oR as Parcel No. 2: The West 250 feet of the N.E. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of Section 16, Township 45 South, Range 43 E, lying adjacent and East of Block 18, Rolling Green Ridge First Addition, recorded in Plat Book 24, Page 224, public records Palm Beach County, Florida. Nature of Nuisance: Excessive growth of weeds, trees, vegetation, debris and garbage, which presently constitutes breeding grounds for insects, snakes and vermin. 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is hereby directed, within five days from date hereof, to forward writte notice as prescribed by Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to the last record owner of the parcels of land hereinabove described.
