WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
did, on March 2, 1970, by council action, award construction contract for
expansion of municipal sewage treatment plant to Overland Construction Co.,
Inc., for a total contract price of $504, 000.00, and
WHEREAS, said City Council desires to process application for
award of Federal funds under Public Law 660, in connection with said project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that award of the above
construction contract to Overland Construction Co., Inc. is hereby ratified
and confirmed and the City Manager, in conjunction with the Cits~SConsulting
Engineers, is hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all documents
for processing ~iiapplication for Federal grant under Public Law 660, in
connection with said project.
