69-IRESOLUTION NO. 69 - I
WHEREAS, the Charier of the City of Boynlon Beach, Florida,
provides that the City Treasurer shall prepare all checks, vouchers and
withdrawal slips lo be drawn on the city depositories, and shall sign the same
and present said checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips to the Mayor or Vice
Mayor to be countersigned as provided herein or by ordinance of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Cily Council in regular session of August 7, 1961,
did duly pass an ordinance that lhe City Manager shall be authorized to
countersign all checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips of the City; and
WHEREAS, GRADY W. COURTNE¥ is lhe duly appointed City
Manager, and
WHEREAS, VINCENT J. GALLO, SR., is the duly elected mayor
and shall sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence of the Cit'
Manager; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS A. SUMMERS, Vice Mayor, has been appoint~
to sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence of the Mayor and
the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, B. J. LAW is the duly appointed Treasurer and
acIing Finance Director, and
WHEREAS, M. C. HOLZMAN, Depuly Treasurer, has been
appointed lo prepare and sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the
absence of the Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a true copy of this
Resolution be sent to all Federal Savings and Loan Associations, commercial
banks or other depositories wherein the City of Boynton Beach maintains
municipal savings accounts, checking accounts or other deposits.
