69-ERESOLUTION NO. 69 -
BE IT RESOLVED THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEAC~
FLORIDA, that its City Attorney, Gene Moore, be, and he is hereby authori~
to prepare and forward to the Palm Beach County Legislative Deleg:ation
to the 1969 Florida Legislature for enactment Special Acts constituting
Charter Amendments to the existing charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, pertaining to the following subject matters:
(a) Revise municipal fiscal year from November 1 to October 31
to October 1 to September 30 of each year.
(b) Authorize City to make purchases up to $1,000.00 without
requirement of competitive bid.
(c) Provide for reserve annexaiion area extending westerly from
existing municipal City limits approximately 2.25 miles.
(d) Provide authorization for investment of rnu~cipal retirement
pension funds in mutual funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be authorized
to take any and all necessary steps to aid the Legislative Delegation in the
introduction and passage of the above legislation.
