69-CRESOLUTION NO. 69 -£
W H E R E A S, in connection with the construction of State Road
#9 through the municipal limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, an
overpass is proposed at the intersection of said highway and S.W. 23rd Avenue
and
WHEREAS, in connection with said proposed plans, the State
Road Department has required that that portion of said S.W. 23rd Avenue,
which presently constitutes a City road, be deeded to the County of Palm
Beach and designated as a County road, and
WHEREAS, the City Council oflhe CityofBoynton Beach
deems thai the granting of said request is in the best interest of the
municipality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORI DA,
that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and the same are
execute and
hereby authorized to, deliver to the ~unty of Palm Beach the original of the
right of way deed, copy of which is hereby attached hereto and hereby made a
part hereof.

GOLF ROAD, also known as Southwest 23rd Street
January 9, 1969
As you are currently aware, 1-95 will go over Golf Road.
This is a project that is being handled by the City and
the County has been requested by the State Road Depart-
ment, that the private right of way on the west side of
the Interstate, approximately 1000 feet, be dedicated
to the County in order to qualify for a grade separation.
As Golf Road is an existing road, which is adequate, and
the only thing that is needed is for the right of way to
be deeded to the County.
Attached please find Sheets 5 and 6, marked "Tentative"
pertaining to Golf Road right of way. Please be advised
that all right of way in Golfvtew Harbor, 1st and 2nd
Sections, are owned by the developer. It would be ap-
preciated if you would initiate this request as soon as
possible.
