A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TEN CONTRACTS
FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AND TEN (10) SUB-RECIPIENTS
OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS (CDBG); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach has entered into an agreement with
he United States Department of Housing and urban Development for a grant for the
execution and implementation of a Community Development Block Grant Program
'n certain areas of the City of Boynton Beach, pursuant to Title I of the Housing and
ommunity Development Act of 1974, (as amended); and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach desires to enter into Agreements
ten (10) sub-recipients, who have previously submitted all necessary
ocumentation required, including budgets, scopes of services, and timelines for
erformance; and
WHEREAS, a copy of each Agreement is attached hereto and made a part
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
OMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1.
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
hereby authorize execution of ten (10) Agreements between the City of
oynton Beach, Florida and sub-recipients, as follows:
1, Aid for Victims of Domestic Assault (A VDA) - Funding
Amount $5,000;
2. Boynton Beach Faith Based CDC - Funding Amount
$60,000;
3. Community Caring Center - Funding Amount $15,000;
4, Committed Citizens Concerned About Our Children (CCCC)
- Funding Amount $5,000;

$10,000;
6. I have a Dream Foundation - Funding Amount $5,000;

9. R.M, Lee Community Development Corp. - Funding
Amount $60,000;
10,
Vetsville - Funding Amount $7,500
This Resolution will become effective immediately upon

T. Counterparts of This Agreement
This Agreement, consisting of thirteen enumerated pages and the exhibits referenced herein, shall be
executed in two (2) counterparts, each of which shall be deemed to be an original, and such
counterparts will constitute one and the same instrument.
