68-ARESOLUTION 68 - A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
FIXING AND ESTABLISHING SERVICE CHARGES FOR
THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSITION OF ALL GARBAGE,
TRASH, REFUSE AND DEBRIS, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
13 - 14 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA
WH]ERFAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, did, on September 11, 1967, adopt Resolution 67-R, pertaining to
establishment of rates and service for garbage, trash, refuse and debris
collections within said City, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intent of the City Council to
amend Section 3 of subject Resolution, pertaining to commercial garbage
collection rates;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida:
SECTION 1: That Section 3 of Resolution 67-R, adopted by the
City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, on September 11, 1967,
and the same is hereby amended to read:
"SECTION 3. The following sums shall be charged for garbage,
trash, refuse and debris collections from all commercial
establishments and business houses within the City:
(a) A $2.50 monthly minimum fee for each commercial
customer receiving minimum pick-up service, which shall
consist of one can per day for two pick-ups per week.
(b) There shall be an additional charge of 50¢ for each
additional daily piclc-up per week and an additional charge of
6.5~ for each additional can collected by the City above the
minimum of one can per pick-up.
(c) All collections of garbage, trash, refuse and debris
where same is collected in bulk form rather than in cans, the
charge for the collection of such bulk garbage shall be computed
upon the same volume basis as established in Section 3 (b) above.
The volume of such bulk collection to be estimated by the
collector."
SECTION 2: In all other respects the contents of said Resolution
67-R are hereby ratified and confirmed as originally adopted.
