A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH ADOPTING A JOB CLASSIFICATION
AND PAY PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH: REPEALING ALL OTHER PAY PLANS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
after due consideration resolved that a job evaluation survey and
pay plan for the City of Boynton Beach be made; and
WHEREAS, Frank C. Brown and Co., Inc. was retained by
the City of Boynton Beach to conduct a job classification and pay
plan study and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, on August 8, 1966, Frank C. Brown and Co., Inc.
submitted a comprehensive job classification and pay plan for the
City of Boynton Beach (hereafter for convenience called the Brown
Plan); and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 1967, at a regular meeting of
the City Council said Brown Plan was approved and adopted by the
Council; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to February 20, 1967, after con-
siderable study, the Brown Plan was amended, which amendments are
presently incorporated in said Brown Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Boynton BEach as follows:
1. That the Job Evaluation Survey and Wage and Salary
Pay Plan prepared by Frank C. Brown and Co., Inc., a!
amended, is hereby adopted as the job-classification
and pay plan for all positions in the service of the
City of Boynton Beach.
2. That all prior pay plam in conflict with the "Brown
Plan" referred to herein are hereby repealed.
