A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
REQUESTING THE TURNPIKE AUTHORITY TO
CONSTRUCT AN INTERCHANGE AT BOYNTON ROAD
AND SUNSHINE STATE PARKWAY, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, State Road 804 (Boynton Road) is a direct East-
West road artery, serving the City of Boynton Beach, and lies
approximately halfway between existing Sunshine State Parkway
Interchanges; and
WHEREAS, an interchange at State Road 804 and Sunshine
State Parkway would be an asset to the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, and surrounding populous area;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH:
That this Council urges the Turnpike Authority to construct
an interchange at Boynton Road (State Road 804) and the Sunshine
State Parkway in Palm Beach County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this
Resolution be furnished to the Turnpike Authority and to the County
Commissioners of the County of Palm Beach.
