R67-ARESOLUTION NO. 67-A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA~ COMMEMORATING THE
MEMORY OF A.C. (Boots) CARVER.
WHEREAS~ A. C. (Boots) CARVER~ for many years served in the
capacity of Chief of the Municipal Police Department of
the City of Boynton Beach~ and
WHEREAS~ during said individual's tenure of office~ he served the
City and the citizens of said municipality with dili-
gence and distinction~ and
WHEREAS~ the said A.C. (Boots) CARVER passed away on December 21~
1966~ and
WHEREAS~ it is deemed fitting and proper that the service of said
individual rendered the inhabitants of the City of
Boynton Beach be officially recognized;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ I~ the undersigned Mayor~ hereby officially
recognize the distinguished service of A.C. (Boots)
CARVER as Police Chief of the City of Boynton Beach~
Florida~ and express the condolences of the officials
of said municipality to the widow and family of said
individual.
BE IT FURTHER RE~0LVED THAT a copy of this Resolution be spread
upon the official records of the City of Boynton Beach.
DONE AND RESOLVED at a duly constituted meeting of the City
Council of the City of Boynton Beach~ Florida~ on this
3rd day of January 1967.
