AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE TEXT OF THE SUPPORT
DOCUMENTS OF THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN CONNECTION
WITH APPLICATION NO. 20, PkANNING AREA
1.G; SAID TEXT AMENDMENT WILL ALLOW A
LOCAL RETAIL COMMERCIAL LAND USE
DESIGNATION; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR CODIFICATION;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHF/~EAS, the City Commission of the City of Bo!rnton Beach
Florida has adopted a Comprehensive Plan and as part of said Pla]
a Future Land Use Element by Ordinance 89-38 in accordance with
the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act; and
WHEREAS, Christopher Cutro, agent for the City of Boynto~
Beach, Florida has applied to amend a portion of the Support
Documents of the Future Land Use Element entitled Land UsE
Problems and Opportunities, Planning Area No. 1, Area 1.g.; and
WBK~EAS, the procedure for amendment of the Comprehensive
Plan as set forth in Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, has bee
followed; and
WHEREAS, afterpublic hearing and study, the City Commissic
deems it in the best interest of the inhabitants of said City
emend the text of the aforesaid Support Documents of the Futur~
Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan as adopted by the Cit~
herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COmmISSION OF TH
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, T~AT:
