R66-FFRESOLUTION NO. 66-FF
WHEREAS, it is deemed essential to the establishment of a sound
basic community economy that a branch office of a nationally-known stock
exchange firm be located within the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH to properly
serve local investors; and,
WHEREAS, based upon the recent substantial economic growth of
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH and the projected future continuation thereof,
it is felt that such a venture would prove financially sound; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH as an inducement to the establishment of such a
branch office to lend its support and assistance to the success of same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OlW
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
THAT any and all nationally-known stock exchange firms are hereby
respectfully requested to conduct economic surveys for the purpose of deter-
mining the feasibility of establishing a local branch office within the CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and the said City Council agrees to lend its
assistance and support to the success of such a venture if and when
established.
