AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE TEXT OF THE SUPPORT
DOCUMENTS OF THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE COMPP~MRNSIVE PLAN IN CONNECTION
WITH APPLICATION NO. 1, PLASFNING AREA
4.B; SAID TEXT AMENDMENT WILL ALLOW A
MEDIUM DENSITY LAND USE DESIGNATION;
PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING
AUTHORITY FOR CODIFICATION; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Conu~ission of the City of Bolrnton Beach,i
Florida has adopted a Comprehensive Plan and as part of said Pla
a Future Land Use Element by Ordinance 89-38 in accordance wit
the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act; and
WRKKEAS, Christopher Cutro, agent for the City of Bo!rntoz
Beach, Florida has applied to amend a portion of the Suppor~
Documents of the Future Land Use Element entitled Land Use
Problems and Opportunities, Plarhning Area No. 4, Area 4.b.; and
WHEREAS, the procedure for amendment of the Comprehensive
Plan as set forth in Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, has been
followed; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing and study, the City Commissio~
deems it in the best interest of the inhabitants of said City t(
amend the text of the aforesaid Support Documents of the Futur~
Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan as adopted by the Cit
herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'r~ CITY CO~A~ISSION OF
CIT~ OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLOR/DA, THAT:
Section 1: The portion of the Support Documents of the
Future Land Use Element entitled Land Use Problems and
Opportunities, Planning Area 4, Area 4.b. is hereby amended b~

Section 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances ir
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3: Should any section or provision of thi:
ordinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or work bE
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, suer
decision shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4: Authority is hereby Granted to codify said
