R66-ORESOLUTION NO. 66- O
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Junior Woman's Club has for the
past several years been instrumental in sponsoring and promulgating the Miss
Boynton Beach Beauty Pageant; and,
WHEREAS the continued and growing success of said project has
brought widespread recognition and honor to the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH;
and,
WHEREAS it is deemed fitting and proper that the efforts of said
organization, in connection with the sponsorship of this worthy project, should
be publicly recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
THAT, the outstanding civic efforts exerted by the Boynton Beach
Junior Woman's Club in organizing and producing the Miss Boynton Beach
Beauty Pageant are hereby officially recognized and commended and the
appreciation of the inhabitants of said City is hereby gratefully expressed to
said organization.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of March, A.D. 1966.
