R66-N RESOLUTION 66- ~/. WHEREAS the construction of Highway No. 1-95 through the municipal ~imits of The City of Boynton Beach, appears to be rapidly approaching reality, ~nd WHEREAS it is deemed essential in order to provide for the continued growth and prosperity of the City that sufficient interchanges be included in said )roject to allow access to said highway, as well as exits to the various develop- ~d areas of the City, and WHEREAS at this time it appears doubtful that a proposed interchange at the intersection of said Highway 1-95 and Southwest 15th Avenue (Woolbright Road) will be constructed because of the fact that said Southwest 15th Avenue is not paved or otherwise open West of the right-of-way of said Highway 1-95, and WHEREAS the City officials have been advised by the State Road De- >artment; that said interchange will be constructed if the said Southwest 15th kvenue is completed and installed West of said right-of-way, and WHEREAS, the said Southwest 15th Avenue is a County road, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Board of County Commissioners of >alto Beach County are hereby strongly urged to provide for the immediate im- provement and installation of said Southwest 15th Avenue West of the right-of- ~ay of Highway I-95.
