R66-HRESOLUTION NO. 66-~
WHEREAS, WALTER A. MADSEN, has for many years last
past served the City of Boynton Beach, as its Mayor, Vice-Mayor and City
Councilman; and
WHEREAS, the said WALTER A.
MADSEN, during his tenure of
office has devoted many hours of his time toward the enlargement and beauti-
fication of park facilities belonging to the municipality, with particular
reference to the municipal beach facility; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed fitting and proper that the many and
varied accomplishments of the said WALTER A. MADSEN, on behalf of the
inhabitants of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, be formally recog-
nized by the City Council of said municipality;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, that the municipal beach facility
owned and operated by the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, shall
henceforth be known as WALTER A. MADSEN PARK, in honor of the many
accomplishments of said individual on behalf of the City and in greatful
appreciation of his efforts expended in this regard.
