R66-GRESOLUTION 66- ~ WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has heretofore determined by the enactment of Resolution 65-AA dated June l, 1965 that certain nuisances existed upon Lots 56, 72 and 73, THE LAWNS, a sub- division of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 69, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida and further directed the abatement of subject nuisances by the owners of the above described property; AND WHEREAS said owners failed or refused to abate subject nuisance and the City has proceeded to abate same in the interest of the protection of the public health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Boynton Beach, and WHEREAS the City Clerk has prepared an Assessment Roll showing the total cost incurred by the City in connection with subject nuisance abate- ment proceedings which has been submitted by the Mayor to the City Counci3; that a copy of subject assessment roll is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof; and WHEREAS the City Council, after due consideration, has approved subject Roll subject to equalization. NOW, TI-IEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida that the assessment roll attached hereto is hereby approved and the amounts indicated as to the respective lots described therein are hereby assessed as liens against said respective parcels as of the effect- ive date of this '~. _]~_chproperty owner shall have the privilege of paying the entire assessment as to his property within 90 days from the attach- ment of said lien without penalty. If any owner fails to pay said lien within said 90 day period, it shall be paid in three consecutive equal installments payable as other ad valorem taxes are paid, commencing with the tax year 1966, together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum fror~ the date of attachment of said lien on the unpaid balance thereof.
