65-OORESOLUTION NO. 65-00
WHEREAS, in connection with the implementation of the
Master Development Plan of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
said City has heretofore determined the necessity of the removal of the
existing FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY station facility located between
Ocean Avenue and Northeast Second Avenue, within said City; and
WHEREAS, the said FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY has
agreed to the removal of said facility by the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the offer of the FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY to allow
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, to remove the existing railway
station building above described, is hereby accepted and the City shall imme.
diately proceed with the accomplishment of this project and the City shall
hold the said FLORIDA EAST COAST -RAILWAY harmless from any damages
or liability for personal injuries or property damages resulting from said
demolition project.
