Minutes 11-12-20November 12th 1920 Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Boynton was held in the Town Hall. on -Friday evening November 12th 1920. Yeeting being called to order by the President of Council. Upon Roll Call the following members being present. J. P. Bowen, President of Council; A. L. Atwater, A. C. Shepard, W. S. Shepard, Chas stitte, Councilmen; D. S. Hudson, Clerk. Minutes of.the last meeting was read and by motion aproved. New Busines: Motion by I. Atwater, seconded by Mr. A. C. Shepard, that Ordinance No. 12 Motor 'Vehicles., be adopted as read, upon its third reading. Lotion Carried. Motion by Mr. A. C. Shepard, seconded by ''. :r. Atwater that Ordinance No. 14 LIVE .STOCK, be adopted as read, upon its third reading. Lotion Carried. Lotion by Lir. Chas Stites, seconded by y. A. 0. Shepard, that Ordinance No. 15 BOGS, be adopted s read, upon its third. reading. Motion Carried. • Moon reccomendation of the President of Council, it was urina- 'aious decided that the Councilmen -decide by ballot among them selves, as to who should serve on the Town Council for the 'period of one year,,,end the period of two years. A ballot box was then passed by ?tir. C. F. Knuth, consisting of five slips of white paper, with the figure (1) one written upon two slips, ane the figure two (2). ixitten upon three slips, indicating those • whom drew Go. 1 would remain on the Council for a period of one year, and those whom drew No. 2 would remain on the Council -for -- a period of two years. Numbers drawn for the one year term, read as follows. S. Shepard, 'Chas Stitts, Numbers drawn for the two years term, read as follows. A. A. Atwater, C. P. Bowen, A. C. Shepard, The term. of the ohe year office expireing I.'!ay 1st 1921. The Clerk was instructed by the _resident of the Council to post notice of a Mass Meeting of the' citizens to be held on vr'ednesday evening november 17th 1920.; relative to the Bond Election. Also to ask the presence of the City -"attorney at said meeting. The clerk wet also instructed to write Yr. J. B.
