in special session
1 met on the above date with
following mem-
bers present, H. B. Murray,Mayor, A, C. Shepard, President of the
council, J. P. Bowen, J. C. Powell, B. F. Evans, Councilmen, Eunice
E. Magnuson, Clerk, and C. C. Chillingsworth, Town's Attorney.
All members were present except A. A. Atwater, who altho having been
duly notifird of the meeting was forced to be out of town.
The meeting was called to order by the president of the council
A. C. Shepard.
Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approited•as read.
C, C. Chillingsworth addressed the ree+ing in regard to the
business of cal an election fcrthe officers of the town
quired by the new charter
The resolution drawn up by Mme. Chillingsworth and presented by
him to the council for consideration,(wapy of which is attached here-
unanimously
to), was upon motion by J. C. Powell seconded by B. F. Evans, aa rt-

The clerk was instnueted to write to the Secretary of State, re -
us
questing him to send a certified copy of the new charter for the town
There being no further business the meeting uror, oration adjourned
