MInutes 07-01-21July 1 The town council met on the above date wa to the following mem& present, A. C. Shepard, President of ?the Council, J. P. Bowen, Evans and J. C. Powell, Councilmen and Eunica E. Magnuson, Clerk. - Meeting w s called to order by the president of the council. Minutes of t'± were acceptad as read. meeting were. -feed and after being corrected Communications were read. The resolution concerning the Z.R.`Robert's crossing,copy ofwhi. is attached hereto, as prepared by C.:C. Chillingivorth was upon-toti© by J.°C. Powell seconded by J. P. Bowen unanimously adopted. The motion was made by J. C. Powell and seconded by B. F. Evans, he necessary cable for putting the electric light line 'ander ti railroad tracks be ordered. Motion unanimously carried. A bill to C.V. Lewis for salary for the month of June after being:: approved by the finance committee was --ordered paid. The re .,ration books were duly examined and corrected. A motion was made by J. C. Powell and seconded by J. P. Bowen - to grant permission to the Booster Club to put recti on the bath house read if they so desire. After a thorough discussion the following resolution upon motidn duly seconded and carried was unanimously adopted: Whereas, there exists within thecorporatelimits of the Town of Boynton, Florida, a highway crossir_'g at a point, where the main line of the Florida East Coast Railway crosses the public road, situated approximately one half mile north of the station at Boynton, Florida, which point is also approximately 1185 feet south of railway mile post 312, said point being further known as 3. R. Roberts crossing, at which is required a crossing of suitable nature in order to permit pedestrians and vehicular traffic to cross the said railroad with a reasonable de- gree of safety and convenience. - Therefore, It Is Resolved that the Town Council of the Town of Boynton, Florida by the President of said Council, and the Town Clerk of the T:wn of Boynton, be and they are hereby authorized to give notice, On behalf of, the_Counoil.-to the ,Florida -Fast Coast-Railasa_Co.,.,,a_car,-,-..-01 w. aoratior_, setting forth thearlace'an_d nature of the crossing required, as stated above, and requiring the crossing to be built, 'withizt thirty days from the time of the service of the notice upon the agent of the .Railway Co., residing or having an office in the Town of Boynton, Fla.
