AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. O91-24 OF SAID
CITY, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 5. D. OF SAID
ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR SELECTION OF A
CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-CHAIRPERSON AT THE
JULY MEETING OF THE BOARD; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION
AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the
of Boynton Beach, Florida, to amend Ordinance No.
O91-24 of the City of Boynton Beach, Section 5.D.
Organization. to change the date of selection of a
Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson from the May meeting to the
July meeting of the Education Advisory Board and to provide
for adoption of the Rules of Procedure of the City of
Boynton Beach Education Advisory Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 5.D. of Ordinance No.
O91-24 of the City of Boynton Beach is hereby amended by
adding the words and figures in underlined type and by
deleting the words and figures in struck-through type as
follows:
Section 5 ....
D. At the organizational meeting
of the Board a Chairperson and
Vice-Chairperson shall be selected by
majority vote of the Board. The
Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall
be selected annually at the May July
meeting of the Board.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
